The Campus Ecology Journal

Articles. The Journal is interested in articles on the variety of information, ideas and resources related to students and their environments. Material is sought on:

All articles must be grounded in published literature. Research based articles, articles on environmental practices, articles about research tools, articles about theories and models of student-campus interaction and articles about related topics, disciplines, literature, research, theory and practice are all welcome.

Book Reviews. Reviews are welcome and should conform to the style requirements listed below.

Style. Manuscripts must be clear, concise, well organized and grounded in the literature to the extent possible.

Length. Articles should be at least 500 words and generally no longer than 7500 words.

Format. Manuscripts must conform to the most recent APA Publication Manual standards for format and language. Authors are encouraged to use html features such as links to the extent appropriate. The inclusion of photographs and images in the body of the article is strongly encouraged. Please include all graphic elements within the body of the article placed appropriately within the text. Written permission from the copyright holder must be included for copyrighted images and text.

Submissions: Material must be submitted electronically in MS Word format to willbarratt@indstate.edu and include each authors institutional affiliation, title and E-mail address. A photograph of the author(s) must be included upon final acceptance for publication with the article.

Editorial Review: Material will be reviewed by Journal Editors and members of the Editorial Board as needed.

Copyright. All copyright remains with the authors. No copyrighted images may be used without written permission of the copyright holder. Submitting a manuscript constitutes permission to publish the text and images.

The Campus Ecologist Photos
Photo collections and photo essays are subject to the same editorial review as articles. Photos must be appropriately captioned and a photo essay should conform to APA style and format for the text. All photographs must be original material or must have copyright permission. Photographs may include people in public who are over 18 and cannot include images of anyone under 18 without their express permission. Photographs taken in non-public settings must include permission from the people in the photograph.
